Is there a minimum size/weight to trigger the motion detection on the outdoor camera?
I'm specifically asking about whether it's a realistic expectation for a cat or squirrel to set off the motion detection for example. I know the motion detection sensor uses PIR and anything under 30 pounds shouldn't set it off but I'm not sure what technology the outdoor cameras use and if there's a minimum size/weight to trigger it. (And a rough estimate is fine, I don't need anything super specific.)

Yes, the Outdoor Camera does use PIR for motion detection; i.e. it's looking for lateral movement of hotspots within view. The tricky thing is that while it is calibrated for outdoor use, there could still be quite a bit of variation in detection depending on the environment - specifically the ambient temperature. But we would estimate the boundary to be 25lb, give or take.
Of course, in the daytime, after the PIR detects motion, and if the camera is set to People Only, that's when the onboard AI kicks in to filter for people-shaped objects.
