I understand there is a vertical wedge but is there a horizontal angle wedge/mounting plate?
I've seen mentions of the doorbell being shipped with a vertical angle mount (so that one can tip down or up slightly). I'm wondering if there is a horizontal angle like Blink offers? I think they have the ability to do 15, 30 and 45 degrees.

hi @masonfoley ,
Yes, the Video Doorbell Pro comes with a vertical wedge, primarily for mounting on angled siding. And yes, we also have a horizontal wedge that can turn the camera by 15°. It's available via our Support team.

@masonfoley There are many alternatives to mount your doorbell pro; suggest you search Amazon, Etsy or eBay and you will find options for your needs.

Hello, I just installed my doorbell today and realize I need a horizontal wedge to fully use the camera. It looks as if others have encountered this issue. Does SimpliSafe sell one? What solutions has everyone come up with? Thanks in advance!

An FYI for anyone pursuing this issue more recently. I contacted Simplisafe about this - my doorbell is installed perpendicular to my door, so I needed a sharp angle wedge. They sent me a 15 degree wedge and said they don't have 30 or 45s. I did get the rep to send me 2 additional kits and I'll try stacking them all together for a 45 degree turn.

I also need a couple horizontal wedges for my doorbell cam. I never received any when I purchased it and my doorbell is perpendicular to my front door.
Any help Simplisafe?

My old doorbell is mounted on the side of window frame and at a doorknob height, so the mounting kit included won't work.
Now, I need to find and pay for another mounting kit that can be adjusted to angle out and up in order to capture the full picture of who is ringing the bell. SimplySafe doorbell looks slick probably works well (I don't know because I haven't able to use it since I got it a week ago).

It costed me $22.95 (before tax) for each. I am buying two, one for my house and another one for mom's house. Most of the US homes built in 80s & 90s have doorbell on the side of the door/window frame, FYI SimpliSafe.
