Front door camera connection issues
Our front door camera has been having issues ever since we got it. I've tried many things (moving routers, adding an extender, etc). At present, it appears to connect to our 2.4 extender that is within a couple of feet, but ONLY if it is not attached to the mounting plate. It can be in the same location, against the wood door jam, but not actually attached. If it is attached, the connection drops. I checked the wiring and its all fine (and the doorbell works). Any thoughts?
Note: we have Google nest, but added an extender so that the doorbell would have a dedicated 2.4 SSID

Hi @gcmorrison,
Does the mounting plate have proper contacts with the gold pins on the Video Doorbell? If the mounting plate is screwed on too tight that it's bending, it can prevent solid contact on the gold pins which can cause power and connectivity issues with the Video Doorbell.
