Feedback on live view of camera

We just installed  a new system this past week. I called customer support about the camera feedback and they graciously sent us a new camera. Having same issue with the new camera. We too have moved the new camera to different parts of the house and have the same issue. Any updates from the engineering team on a fix?

@michaeleoneill How close are you to the specific camera you are doing a live view?  The feedback loop can be at a distance further than you think. Suggest you go outside the home and do a live stream. If there is feedback, call back SS and tell them, and troubleshoot. If no feedback outside, then could be normal operation, but you can still call support for suggestions.

At the time of my original posting, as listed I already called for support with SimpliSafe the week before and indeed they shipped a replacement camera. I posted because unfortunately even with the replacement camera  there is still feedback even when “live” outside and even when miles away. They have a issue and hopefully SS engineering team is still working on it.

@michaeleoneill​ Sorry if I missed some detail in your post, but, there is something specifically going on with your setup as I, and three other customes I just checked with, are not having this problem with outdoor, doorbell pro or Simplicam cameras. You have tested miles away, still an issue, so something else if going on. To be clear, this is not a common problem that I am aware of so waiting for SS to work on it will not solve the issue. Suggest you call back support and ask for a supervisor if the rep says there is nothing they can do about it.

I've heard of this from other Community members. Did you mention this issue only happens during Live View, and the noise isn't in recordings?
