I will join the party. I've been getting 2 notifications for a while now. I just played around with push notifications, and now I'm getting 3 alerts - doorbell camera only. All the other alerts appear to be a single alert. I guess I should look forward to 6 or 7 notifications based on what I'm reading!!

I would hope that SimpliSafe has identified the issue and can alert us on the timing for a fix. OR if not, that their team is actively working on this issue. They've certainly got plenty of people who can readily reproduce the issue.

Can SimpliSafe please update us more regularly? The last posting was for a workaround that didn't work for anybody and I now see that this post was removed. Please set our expectations as to when a fix or viable workaround will be available.

I am having the same issue. The system is fairly new for us and I am receiving duplicate notifications for the doorbell only. Would love an update like the others on this thread, SimpliSafe.

Today I moved from 7 to 8 identical notifications for the same doorbell cam event (a delivery). At least it was only an increment of 1 this time. My wife has an iPhone with the same app and she gets just one like I used to on my Android. I'm pretty much done messing with settings on my phone and the app, including uninstalling and reinstalling. Maybe there'll be a prize for the most duplicates. I wish simplisafe would at least tell us if they're aware. They have been pretty responsive to our needs up to now.

finally decided to google this issue and see that everyone and their brother is having the same problem.  started at 2 notifications about a month ago.  then 2.  then this morning just jumped up to 3.  Come on simplisafe!

This issue of receiving multiple duplicate push notifications is something that our app development teams are currently working on. Currently, we are working on both a long term solution to prevent this issue from happening in the first place as well as a shorter-term solution to fix this issue for any of our customers who are currently experiencing this issue. Once we have a solution, we'll make sure to let you all know.

Interesting to find this thread, as I created another thread to report that I'm not getting any push notifications from my Simplisafe app on Android since yesterday!

I don't have a doorbell camera, so wasn't affected by the issues described here. But I did receive a Simplisafe app update yesterday which I presume was to fix the issue in this thread. But it seems to have broken all my push notifications as not getting anything now! Oh dear .... !

Same for my wife, she's only getting 1 notification now instead of 2.

LOL. In another thread a customer and I, as of last night, stopped getting notifications! Should note I did not have the duplicate issue.

I just noticed today also, I went from 8 duplicates back to normal. Thank you simplisafe. Its one of the best things to happen so far this year!!

Edit: Except doorbell. I'm still getting 6 notifications for doorbell camera.

Well, it had gone back to one notification per event, but I just got 11 notifications for my husband walking through the door. So, same old, same old.
