doorbell chime connector fried
Just posting as an fyi. Installed the doorbell cam a little over two years ago and had to use the chime connector. It's worked fine since then. Yesterday, smelled a strong electrical-burning smell. The chime connector had started to melt. Simplisafe is sending a new one but you may want to keep on eye on yours.

Hello, again,
Simplisafe sent another chime connector which I put in a few days after the post above.
A few minutes ago I heard a loud buzzing in the hall and while investigating found the replacement chime connector very hot to touch and starting to melt. The replacement lasted less than a year. Ridiculous.
