Doorbell camera below30%

For the last few days I have been notified for video doorbell that battery is below 30% . Then the camera goes offline. Without my doing anything it comes online for a few hours then goes back with the same message and camera is offline. Obvious something is wrong. What can I do?

User here; If you have a multimeter and know how to check if voltage is there from your transformer, that's a test. Without power the battey depletes.

Nothing appears bent or twisted etc.

If you check voltage at the doorbell, you could make sure the wire connectors aren't loose or showing any damage, melting etc.

While its off the bracket, check the contacts for corrosion etc., turn off power, clean as necessary, maybe a q-tip with a little 70 percent rubbing alcohol, not saturated. Lightly clean, wipe dry with a cloth.

If you added the chime connector you could check there for tight connections in the chime and for voltage etc., at the transformer etc.

If it's an old aged doorbell perhaps the battery has just gone out. In that case you need to swap out the doorbell if under warranty. Power keeps it charged for internal operations in the doorbell.

If you check some or all of these things and record it, you can probably then call or try chat for a new doorbell if all is good and nothing fixes it.
