Doorbell 2-Way Audio Not Working

The Mic & Audio setting is turned on, but we can only hear sound coming from our doorbell (cars driving by, people talking into the mic) but if we try to respond or initiate a conversation through the doorbell, nobody can hear us. As far as we know, this has never worked with our doorbell.

Has anyone else run into this issue and found a way to resolve the problem?

Hi GymKeys,

Assuming that your camera has already auto-updated to the latest firmware, you shouldn't be having trouble. Just press and hold the mic button (you should see a blue pulsing around your finger to indicate that it's active).

One possible issue is that the camera might not have the best reception where it is. In cases like that, the camera will prioritize the image quality, and audio function might be decreased. Try temporarily reducing the video quality in the camera settings. That will reduce the amount of bandwidth that the camera requires for the video, leaving more for the audio to go through.

@fflood​ What color is the light on your Video Doorbell Pro when the issue occurs? You may need to perform a soft or hard reset on the Video Doorbell Pro to get things running again. To reset the Video Doorbell Pro, follow the steps here.
