Camera wall mount

I have a system and love it.  I would like to add a camera but need to mount it up on a wall near ceiling.  Electrical is covered but the current base doesn't seem like it will work as a wall mount and /or give any angle adjustments.  Any suggestions?

I drilled a hole in my base and put a screw through it.  Might void the warranty but I like living on the wild side.

Perhaps the new external mount could be used indoors?

The outdoor kit has an awesome wall mounting bracket. It is perfect for indoor applications and SHOULD be able to be purchased separate from the whole kit, but it is nice being able to mount the cameras outdoors now.

I'm trying to find info on this outdoor mount you speak of. Did SS release an outdoor model??

The outdoor kit is for the current SimpliCam. It is not available online. You must call and place your order through the rep. I like it. I have two.

Thanks! I thought SimpliCam was indoor use only, but now I see a SS rep's response on another thread about how the outdoor kit works.

SS sure doesn't do a great job advertising these cool options that they have! Seems like they could be making a lot more money if they would just tell their customers when they come out with new products!

I certainly wouldn't try it in direct rain or anything, but it seems to be holding up well. Been very humid, damp, and cold for weeks now. No issues.

There's an adjustable SimliSafe camera wall mount that you can buy on Amazon that you might be able to use, it adjusts on the horizontal and the vertical axes.  You can probably mount it on one the wall near the corner and point it 45¬∫ from straight-on (it has a 110¬∫ range of motion horizontally) and get the same effect as mounting in the middle of the corner.  Link below.

+1 on drilling a hole through the base.  That's the way i mounted our camera to the ceiling of the garage.

I bought two of these for cameras that I want to wall mount in the basement:

https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B084VC5711/ref=ppx_yo_dt_b_asin_title_o05_s00?ie=UTF8&psc=1

The guy who makes these also makes a keypad mount designed to cover the holes from old wired keypads from other security companies.  I bought one of those too, so that I don't have to patch the wall where my old ADT keypad was located.

@usmaak thank you for the information and link. Just placed my order for one of the mounts to use in my basement.
