Camera does not work with Motorola DOCSIS 3.0 MG7540 dual band wifi router

Required three calls to tech support to finally confirm cameras do not work with Motorola DOCSIS 3.0 MG7540 dual band wifi router.  Camera needs dedicated 2.4G wifi. What a waste of time and lack of disclosure by company. If your symptoms are camera LED just flashes green after scanning QR code then your wifi router will not support camera connection.

Well, it won't support it in 5G mode.  If you turn that band off, it will work.  Once it is connected, you can turn 5G back on.  Better would be to have separate networks, 2.4 for the cameras and 5 for everything else which can use it.
