Why are General Activity push notifications and the Entry Sensor chime connected?
I'm deeply confused as to why disabling "General Activity" push notifications on my phone also seems to turn off Entry Sensor chime. I've been toggling this setting for a few days now in an effort to get my notifications just right. The push notifications are clearly meant to apply *only* to my phone, while the Entry Sensor chime emanates from the base station and should be able to be heard by anyone near the device. And yet turning off the "General Activity" push notifications also seems to turn off the Entry Sensor chime.
The Entry Sensor chime is genuinely useful — I like to know when someone is entering or leaving my house when I am here — but would prefer not to have to deal with the barrage of notifications I'll receive when, say, a chubby squirrel runs up my driveway in the path of my outdoor camera.
Why are these two unrelated settings seemingly connected?
