General settings in app

In the Simplisafe app, the general settings is locked:

When I hit settings then scroll down and hit general settings, it then says in a window:
"There was an unexpected error with your system.  Contact Customer Service".

I have contacted customer service twice and both technical agents did not know the answer.  They suggest putting in on this customer support  forum.

@stephenwarrick88 sorry about that. Sounds like the agent on the phone was suggesting that you reach out here in case other customers have encountered the same issue.

Unfortunately, that error message doesn't tell us much. Our first guess is that it's likely an issue with the app being unable to properly reach your system to pull the settings from it. We'll be having a Specialist reach out to investigate further with you!
