"Camera Motion Detected" on the timeline: Which camera detected motion?

When camera motion is detected, I get a notification on my phone that tells me which one of my cameras it was that detected the motion. Why can't the camera timeline in the app also state WHICH camera has recorded the motion? It just states "camera motion detected". Obviously, the system can  differentiate which one when it sends the phone notification, so why not list it in the app?

Hi @melsharb ,

Yes, the Camera Motion Detected entry in the Timeline should be showing which camera was triggered. You'll see the name of the camera in gray, below the heading. It should look like this:

Are you seeing something different? If you're comfortable with sharing screenshots, we can have a look and troubleshoot.

I uploaded a screenshot below. In my version of the app, it does not say WHICH of my 2 cameras detected the motion.

Hi @melsharb ,

Thanks for your patience as we try to get to the bottom of this. There may actually be a software issue that we're still investigating.

But meanwhile, have you already tried removing your camera from your system, and adding it back like new? That will also wipe the software in your camera and maybe reset the incorrect behavior.
