Also send wife MFA code?

Is there a way my wife can sign in on her phone app and also receive the MFA code so she can work with the system such as viewing cameras and arming/disarming the system? Right now when she signs on it sends me the MFA code and I have to text it to her or tell her.

Yes. It's a pain in the butt, but under manage account in the app, you can set up additional authentication methods and add her cell number and/or email as well. Then she has to make sure she selects the correct one. I think it says something like "Use another method" when it's telling you it's going to send the code.

Simplisafe really needs to get it together and allow multiple log-ins with different permission levels if needed for one account. That would simplify the MFA as well.

I'll be the first one to say that SimpliSafe's MFA is garbage and will be garbage until they support authenticator apps  (This applies to all MFAs, not just SimpliSafe) but I don't understand how adding a 2nd number is a pain in the butt. What is/was difficult about setting it up?

@worthing have they said when they are doing authentication apps?

They haven't said and they won't say. The typical response to any request or suggestion is a variant of, "we'll forward this idea to the devs!" and then we rarely hear anything about it ever again. SimpliSafe refuses to comment on anything they are or aren't working on in general and when they do announce something's being worked on (like the Outdoor Camera) they generally refuse to give specific updates until just before it launches.
