Water Sensor on even if the system is off?

When the system is in the off mode, do the water sensors still alert you if there is water or does the alarm have to be set to at least home? Seems absolutely pointless if the water sensors turn off with the system.

Water sensors work in off mode too. Just ask my wife and her mop. :)

yes, all environmental sensors are always active.
