Re-installing sensors

I'm upgrading my windows and I'm wondering how to re-attach the sensors to the new vinyl windows. I know the original adhesive will probably not stick. I checked the SimpliSafe website and there's no option for purchasing replacement adhesive strips. Has anyone faced this problem, and if so, how did you resolve it? I've heard Command strips work, but before I do that, I'd like to get input from the Community. Thanks in advance.

Hi @JohnMD ,

You're right, the Command Strips applied to your sensors aren't reusable. But they are the 3M brand that you can find at your local hardware or grocery store. You'll just need to cut them down to the correct sizes to fit.

I replaced my Glass break sensor battery yet it continues to state battery needs replacement - how do I correct this ?

@kaajfa​ If you remove this Glassbreak Sensor from your account (you can do this in the SimpliSafe mobile app by navigating to Menu > My System > Device Settings > select [your sensor] > tap "x Remove Device" on the bottom of the screen) and then add it back in, you should stop receiving this message.
