Interference to nearby amateur radio station

My neighbor had a simplisafe system installed recently.  Since then I have been experiencing harmful interference that significantly impairs my ability to communicate.  How do we go about solving this?

@nx7u If your radio station communicates using the same frequency as the SimpliSafe system, it is most likely that both are competing in the same airspace. What could help is that you move your radio station and your neighbor moves their Base Station to a different part of the home so they are further apart, with more physical interference between them to drown out the competing signals.

We would also recommend contacting your radio station's manufacturer for any additional troubleshooting tips they may have.

I am licensed by the FCC for the frequencies I use.  SimpliSafe is not.  If I can hear SimpliSafe, the installation is not FCC-compliant due to either a manufacturing or an installation flaw that must be corrected by SimpliSafe.

I would like to be put in touch with a technical team to resolve this issue ASAP.

Thank you

If I am not contacted with a plan by Friday 11/15/2024 this goes to the FCC Enforcement Bureau.

To: FCC Enforcement Bureau (via web submitted form):

Around the 4th of July 2024 a neighboring home installed an alarm system from "Simplisafe".  Immediately I began experiencing significant interference on the 50 MHz amateur band from that direction, with signals from the alarm system 30 dB over my prior noise floor.

I have contacted Simplisafe and their only response was of a Part 15 style--e.g. I should relocate my radio station etc (dialog screenshot attached).  I was not put into contact with any technical support team as I had requested.

I have also attached photos and videos of the offending signal as observed on a spectrum analyzer and my receiver's panadapter.

Thank you for looking into this matter.

@nx7u our technical team did email you on 11/14/24. We would recommend checking your spam folder to ensure that it did not go there in error.

Please have them email me again.   I see nothing in my spam or trash.
