Glass Break sensors always in Offline status / giving errors

I'm trying to figure out why my base station and the website both keep reporting that my two glassbreak sensors are "offline" or "not responding".
I put fresh batteries in them yesterday.  No change.

I put the system into Test Mode over an hour ago and tested them both.  Both recorded alerts successfully in Simplisafe and I received the automated phone call.   But currently, despite me telling the website to refresh its data from the base station, the devices are still in an Offline status ??

I don't want to be in a position where I simply ignore these errors and go on assuming they both are actually working.

Thanks!

To test both sensors and they respond okay, and then get the not connected message is indeed weird. I would call SS to troubleshoot and if necessary replace them under warranty.

I did end up calling Simplisafe.  They had me remove and readd the devices.  Not sure if they did anything else on their end (clear the error messages, possibly?), but this resolved the issue.

Thanks!

Glad our Support team was able to help, Dave.

To clarify though, that Error warning happens at any time when a component fails its regular check-ins with the Base Station. Low battery could cause that, but most of the time it's interference - that is, something is getting in the way of the signal. That can be either physical objects like walls or heavy appliances blocking, or other wireless signals causing noise in the environment.

If you ever see the error warning again, particularly for those sensors, we'll want to troubleshoot interference further.
