Glass break sensor error

Replaced glass break sensor batteries twice and still getting error glass break sensor battery low. Checked voltmeter and got 3 volts. Any ideas?

Hi @scuba_doo, 

Do you know which version of firmware your Base Station is running? You can check from the Keypad under Menu > System Settings > Diagnostics.

There’s an older version of the firmware with a known bug where the Base Station might interpret some signals incorrectly and give off a “Low Battery” notification when that is not the case.

If your Base Station’s firmware is up to date, the only other thing we could do is provide a replacement. If you contact our Support team, they can help with that.

Have you tried deleting it from the system then re adding? It worked for me not to long ago

Thank you for your help, this worked for me when I replaced sensor and could not get rid of low battery or device off error
