Extra Door Sensors - can they be used on another system?

I ended up with extra door sensors.  Can those be used on my daughter's SimpliSafe system or are they "assigned" only to my system?

@bmorton good news. As long as they are from the same system model, no issue. (SS3 to SS3, or SS2 to SS2) All you have to do is remove your extra sensors if they are registered on yours, then add them to your daughters. I did that with several and a Simplicam.

I even have two systems (one for house, one for motorhome) and the motorhome sensors are also defined to the home system.
