Hi,
A "Not Responding" error is caused when a sensor is failing to communicate with the Base Station.
While a dead battery could cause this, sensor batteries use low-drain lithium batteries that should be lasting about 3-5 years. You should also be getting a "Low Battery" warning prior to the battery fully draining.
It's more likely an issue with range, or interference which can severely impact range. You can follow ourHelp Center article here for troubleshooting steps.
