Can an internal alarm be sounded if the system is not being monitored?

Hi @dan_2e08e4,
If you are subscribed to a self-monitoring plan your system's alarm will still sound if it is triggered. However, without a professional monitoring plan, our monitoring center will not be able to contact the police during the event of an alarm.
