Smoke and Carbon Monoxide Alarm Listener LED Status Light Colors

The Smoke and Carbon Monoxide Alarm Listener has several lights that reflect the status of the device. This guide will highlight the various colors and their meaning.
Please note: To preserve the battery life of the Alarm Listener, there is no LED light to indicate that the device has a low battery. If your device's battery is low, you will be notified via the SimpliSafe® mobile app or the Keypad. LED Color | Description |
Green LED flashes once | The Alarm Listener is powered on - either through putting in a new battery or pulling out the device’s battery tab |
Green LED flashes three times | The Alarm Listener has been paired to your SimpliSafe® system |
Solid red for 20 minutes | The Alarm Listener is in Test Mode |
Red LED flashes 3 times | The Alarm Listener heard a smoke alarm, either in normal use or in Test Mode |
Red LED flashes 4 times | The Alarm Listener heard a carbon monoxide alarm, either in normal use or in Test Mode |
Red LED flashes twice every 4 seconds | The Alarm Listener is removed from its mounting bracket |
