App Error: Oops! Something went wrong

Some Android and iOS users may receive the following error message in the SimpliSafe® Mobile App: "Oops! Something went wrong. This could be a configuration in a system or a service outage. We track these errors automatically, but if the problem persists feel free to contact us. Please try again.”
This issue is likely occurring because cookies are blocked on your default browser. To fix this issue, you will need to allow cookies on your device by following the steps below.
How To Allow Cookies on Android
Open you default internet browser app.
Access the browser app settings by hitting the 3 dots.
Select “Settings.”
The setting we are looking for may be located in a different place, depending on your internet browser:
On Google Chrome or Brave, select Site Settings
On Mozilla Firefox, select Privacy
On Microsoft Edge, select Site Permissions
On Samsung Internet, navigate to Sites and Downloads > Site Permissions
Select Cookies and then set it to “Allowed” (or “Enabled”)
Try logging in to the SimpliSafe® Mobile App again.
How To Allow Cookies on iOS
Open your iOS device's Settings
Scroll down and select “Safari”
Look for the “Block All Cookies” setting and toggle this to OFF
Relaunch the Simplisafe® App and log in again
After taking the above steps, attempt to log into the SimpliSafe® App. If you continue to see the error, or encounter issues, please contact our Support team for further troubleshooting.
