My keypad buttons doesn't even work

My keypad buttons doesn't even work. I try to hit menu button or punch in the number 7, 4, or 1 and none of them worked either. Please help.

Hi @yangj55 ,

Sorry to hear about this. When you do press buttons, do you hear any tones that indicate that the buttons have been pressed?

It might help to do a reset of the Keypad, by sliding it off the mounting bracket, removing one battery, and reinserting. The unit shoot reboot with the SimpliSafe logo.

If that doesn't work, we may need to replace the Keypad. Our Support team can help with placing an order for you!

Hello @davey_d

When I pressed the buttons, there's no tones indicating the buttons have been pressed. I've done a reset and removed the battery. I've also tried removing the device and re-pairing the device with the home base. ​

@yangj55​ definitely sounds like we should replace that unit. Please contact our Support team, let them know the troubleshooting we've already done, and they can put in a replacement order for you.
