What is the Timeline in the SimpliSafe® Mobile and Web App?
What is my account’s timeline?
Your timeline houses important information regarding your SimpliSafe® system so you can be informed about recent activity.
In your timeline, you can find events regarding:
When your system has been armed or disarmed
When an alarm has been triggered and canceled
When a new device has been added to your system
If the system is put into Test Mode (opens in new tab)
If a sensor goes offline or is restored
If a camera has a low battery
Wi-Fi lost or restored
Wireless Interference (opens in new tab) is detected
Camera motion detection
Power outages
How do I access my timeline?
You can view your timeline in either the SimpliSafe® Mobile App or Web App.
Using the SimpliSafe® Mobile App
Open up the SimpliSafe® Mobile App using either your smartphone or tablet
Select Timeline on the navigation bar at the bottom of the screen
Scroll through your timeline to see your latest system events and download camera recordings (opens in new tab)
Using the SimpliSafe® Web App
Log in to your account at webapp.simplisafe.com (opens in new tab)
Select Timeline from the navigation bar on the left side of the screen
Scroll through your timeline to see your latest system events and download camera recordings (opens in new tab)
