When do SimpliSafe® Life Safety Devices Expire?

In accordance with National Fire Protection Agency (NFPA) guidance, SimpliSafe® recommends replacing Smoke Detectors every ten years.

How do I know when to replace my SimpliSafe® Smoke Detectors?

Your life safety devices need to be routinely cleaned, tested, and even replaced after certain intervals, in addition to battery replacement. SimpliSafe® Smoke Detectors need to be replaced within ten (10) years of the manufacture date (found on the label on the back of your device).
