Using Your System

How to use Your Apple Watch With SimpliSafe®

With the SimpliSafe® App for the Apple Watch, your security system is always within reach! The Apple Watch app operates independently of your iPhone, allowing you to arm or disarm your system, switch between locations, and manage notifications directly from your watch via a Wi-Fi or cellular connection.

Requirements for the SimpliSafe® Apple Watch App

  • An active SimpliSafe® system

  • An Apple Watch running WatchOS 10+

  • The SimpliSafe® Mobile App installed on your iPhone

  • A Wi-Fi or cellular connection on your Apple Watch

What Does the SimpliSafe® Apple Watch App Do?

As long as your Apple Watch is connected to Wi-Fi or cell, you can use the Apple Watch App to control basic features and functionality of your SimpliSafe® system.

  • Snooze camera notifications (opens in new tab) by pressing and holding the notification

  • Provides you with important information at a glance, like your system’s armed state or your next scheduled arming event. (opens in new tab)
