The Temperature Sensor triggers an alarm when your home’s temperature goes above or below the temperature range that you set.
We won’t request dispatch of emergency services for temperature alarms, but with professional monitoringyou’ll receive an automated call letting you know about the alarm.
Need to purchase a Temperature Sensor? You can find it available for purchase on our website.
You should also make sure that the surface you want to put the sensor on has been wiped clean and has had time to dry.
The Temperature Sensor should be placed in an area where you want to closely monitor its temperature - like near pipes that may run the risk of freezing or in climate-controlled rooms. We don’t recommend putting the Temperature Sensor near a boiler or furnace, as their residual heat could trigger false alarms.
