Setting up SMS and Email Alerts for SimpliSafe®
SimpliSafe® offers SMS, email, and push notification (opens in new tab) alerts so you can stay up to date with your system's status on the go.

You can set these alerts up via your mobile app or our online app from your browser.
From the Mobile App
Navigate to the “My System” gear on the bottom of the screen.
Tap “Alerts & Notifications”.
Tap the type of alert you'd like to add, Email or SMS.
Follow the onscreen instructions to complete setting up the alert.
Tap “Save Alert” to save your changes.
Verify the alert type.
From the Web App
Visit our Web App (opens in new tab) and log in.
Click “Add User”.
Choose between SMS (text alerts) and email, and enter your information.
Verify the alert type.
