How to Add New Products to My Existing SimpliSafe® System

If you made a purchase of a new product or device from our website (opens in new tab), you can easily add it to your existing system using the SimpliSafe® Mobile App. You cannot use the SimpliSafe® Online Account to add devices to your system.

Don’t have the app installed yet? You can download it (opens in new tab) on your mobile device from the App Store for iOS devices or Google Play Store for Android.

Adding New Products Using the SimpliSafe® Mobile App:

  1. Open the SimpliSafe® Mobile App (opens in new tab) on your phone or tablet

  2. Choose the three-bar menu in the upper left corner of the app

  3. Select Add Device or Camera (opens in new tab)

  4. Choose your product from the list of available options

  5. Follow the in-app prompts to add your device to your system

You can shop for cameras, sensors, and more on our website (opens in new tab). Once you’re on that page, you’ll need to select whether you’re expanding your Gen 3 SimpliSafe® System (the latest) or Gen 2 (Legacy, Original SimpliSafe®). From there, a drop down menu will expand to highlight what products are in stock and ready to ship!
