Wireless Outdoor Security Camera LED Status Light Colors
The status light located on the front of your Outdoor Camera indicates key information about your camera. At a glance, it can tell you if your camera is recording, if it isn’t connected to Wi-Fi, or so much more. LED Color | State or Speed | Activity |
White | Solid | Camera is booting up, either for the first time or after reinserting the battery |
White | Blinking | Camera is ready for setup |
Blue | Blinking | A motion event has been triggered, or you are live streaming from the SimpliSafe® App |
Blue | Solid | During setup: the setup was a success; In daily use: motion has been detected. |
No light | N/A | Either the LED has been turned off under Camera Settings, or you need to charge your camera's battery |
