How do I reset or change my password for my SimpliSafe® account?

If you forget your password you can always reset it through the forgot password link (opens in new tab) on the Login Screen. You will be prompted to enter the email associated with your account. Then you will be sent an email with the subject line Replacement login information for (your email) at SimpliSafe®. Use the link in the email to reset your password. Once you have reset the password, return to the login (opens in new tab) to access your account.

To change your password using the SimpliSafe® Mobile App:

  1. Open the SimpliSafe® Mobile App (opens in new tab) on your phone or tablet

  2. Navigate to the three-bar menu in the upper left corner of the app

  3. Choose Account Settings then tap on Password

  4. Enter your current password in the top box

  5. Enter your new password and confirm it in the boxes below

  6. Tap on Save in the upper right corner to save your new password before exiting

To change your password using the SimpliSafe® Online Account (opens in new tab):

  1. Login to the SimpliSafe® Online Account (opens in new tab) using the browser of your choice​

  2. Select Manage Account

  3. Select Change on the right side of your password

  4. Enter your current password in the top box, then enter your new password and confirm in the boxes below
