If you purchased a Video Doorbell from SimpliSafe® or an authorized retailer after September 2026, it is likely that you have the Video Doorbell Series 2. 

You can also tell which version of the Video Doorbell you have by looking at the shape and color of the device. The Video Doorbell Pro is a long oval with a height of 4.35 inches and is mostly white, while the Video Doorbell Series 2 is a rectangle with rounded corners, and is 5.12 inches high and black.
