Using SimpliSafe® With Google Home and Google Assistant

You can use Google to arm your system and check on its status. For your protection, it cannot be used to disarm your system through voice commands.
You may use it by setting up the integration with Google Home, Google Assistant, or both. Below you’ll find the requirements, along with the steps to link SimpliSafe® to your Google Home or Google Assistant apps.

Setting Up Google Home
Log into the Google Home app on your phone or tablet
Select the menu option in the top left corner
Choose Home Control
Click the plus icon in the bottom right corner to add a device
Scroll down and select SimpliSafe® from the list of available devices
Log into your SimpliSafe® account and select the location you’d like to pair
Note, the location must meet the listed requirements above to pair it
That’s it! You’re ready to start protecting your home through the power of voice control!

Log into the Google Assistant app on your phone or tablet
Select the menu option in the top left corner
Choose Home Control
Click the plus icon in the bottom right corner to add a device
Scroll down and select SimpliSafe® from the list of available devices
Log into your SimpliSafe® account and select the location you’d like to pair
