The status light (located on the front of your Smart Alarm Wireless Indoor Security Camera indicates the mode of the camera. It can tell you at a glance if your camera is updating, recording, or if someone is live streaming the feed. You can watch the video below to see the LEDs for yourself, or reference the chart below for the status lights at a quick glance.
LED Color | State/Speed | Activity |
White | Solid | The camera is booting up |
White | Blinking | The camera is ready for set up |
Blue | Solid | The set up was a success and your camera is now ready to use! |
Blue | Blinking | A motion triggered recording is in progress or a live stream/recording is occurring from within the SimpliSafe® Mobile App |
Amber | Blinking | Monitoring Agent is actively live streaming via intruder intervention* (2-Way Audio not enabled) |
Amber | Slow Pulse | Monitoring Agent is actively using 2-Way Audio via intruder intervention* |
No Light | N/A | Double check that your status light has not been turned off under Camera Settings, or charge your camera's battery |
