Why Am I No Longer Receiving Alarm Texts?

If you ever stop receiving Alarm Texts, it is possible that the special phone number that we use to send you Alarm Texts may have been blocked. That phone number is 82539.

How to Unblock the MFA Authentication Number on iOS (iPhone)

  1. Call 82539 by pressing the phone icon on the bottom of the main screen of the phone, selecting “Keypad”, and dialing the number.

  2. You may receive the message “Sorry, the number you dialed is not in service”

  3. Select “Recents” (clock icon) on the bottom of the phone app

  4. Select “All” on the top left

  5. Locate 82539, and select the blue “i” (information) icon on the right

  6. Scroll to the bottom of the page, and select “Unblock this caller”

You may need to wait 1 hour after your last login attempt. But after that, you should be able to log in and receive the confirmation text or call without further issues.

How to Unblock the MFA Authentication Number on Android

  1. Call 82539 by pressing the phone icon on the bottom of the main screen of the phone, selecting “Keypad”, and dialing the number.

  2. You may receive the message, “Sorry, the number you dialed is not in service”

  3. Select “Recents” on the bottom of the phone app. 

  4. Locate 82539, and select the “i” (information) icon on the right.

  5. Scroll to the bottom of the page and unblock the contact.

These instructions are for the default Phone app on standard Android. Some phone manufacturers (e.g. Samsung, LG) may require different instructions. Please consult your phone manufacturer for instructions on how to unblock phone numbers.
