I forgot my PIN/Safe Word.

Master PIN
You Master PIN allows your system to be disarmed, and it is required in order to access the Keypad’s Menu. Click here for more information on SimpliSafe PINs.
If you are experiencing problems remembering your PIN, we can help you regain access to your system and reset your PIN via the SimpliSafe mobile app.
- In the SimpliSafe mobile app, open the Menu by tapping the three-bar ≡ icon
- Select Location Profile
- Select PINs
- Select the PIN you'd like to reveal and/or update
- Tap into the second line labeled PIN to reveal the number and/or change it
- Make sure to hit Done to save your changes
Safe Word
We take your security very seriously—so whenever we speak with you, we will ask for your safe word to confirm your identity. This is to ensure that someone else is not trying to gain access to your system or account, or disarm your system.
You created the Safe Word when you set up monitoring for your system. If you have forgotten your Safe Word, you can view it via your online account on this page of the Webapp, or by following the steps below in the mobile app.
- In the SimpliSafe mobile app, open the Menu by tapping the three-bar ≡ icon
- Select Location Profile
- Tap the line reading "Safeword" to reveal/edit your Safe Word
