How To Find or Change Your Safe Word

We take your security very seriously, so whenever we speak with you, we will ask for your Safe Word to confirm your identity. This is to ensure that someone else is not trying to gain access to your system or account, or disarm your system.
How To Find Your Safe Word
You created your Safe Word when you set up monitoring for your system. If you have forgotten your Safe Word, you can view it via the SimpliSafe® Mobile App or Web App by following the steps below:
Using the SimpliSafe® Mobile App
Open the SimpliSafe® Mobile App on your phone or tablet
Choose My System from the navigation bar at the bottom of the app
Next, select Location Settings from the menu
Scroll down to Safe Word & PINs
Select Safe Word
Here you’ll see your Safe Word visible in plain text
Using the SimpliSafe® Web App
Log in to your account on webapp.simplisafe.com from a browser on your computer
Go to the navigation menu on the left side of the screen and select Monitoring
Under Safeword on the right-hand side of the screen, tap view to reveal your Safe Word
How To Change Your Safe Word
If you would like to change your Safe Word, you can do so by following the steps below in the SimpliSafe® Mobile App:
Open the SimpliSafe® Mobile App on your phone or tablet
Choose My System from the navigation bar at the bottom of the app
Next, select Location Settings from the menu
Scroll down to Safe Word & PINs
Select Safe Word
Tap on the field to enter a new Safe Word
Be sure to select SAVE in the upper right corner of the screen to save your selection
