The Outdoor Camera’s configurable settings makes it easy for you to make the most of your camera and maximize your security—as well as your camera’s battery life.
You can change the Outdoor Camera’s settings in the SimpliSafe mobile app by following these steps:
1. Open the three bar hamburger menu ≡
2. Choose “My System”
3. Choose “Camera Settings”
4. Tap the camera with the settings you want to change
5. On the main Outdoor Camera Settings screen, you can change the name of the camera by clicking the pencil icon next to its current name as well as see the battery’s charge status
6. Click into “Night Vision” or “Motion Detection” to access specific settings like enabling the Spotlight feature or Activity Zones (see below for all available settings)
