Loss of audio to your camera feed can be caused by a dip in the WiFi connection strength to your home network. When there is poor connection, our devices will prioritize video over audio to best ensure the safety of your home.
If your camera loses audio frequently, you may want to consider taking some steps to improve the WiFi connection, such as adjusting the position of your camera or installing a WiFi extender near the camera. You can check out additional steps to improve your connection here.
You can also toggle audio recording on and off in the SimpliSafe mobile app by navigating Menu > Settings > Camera Settings > Select your SimpliCam > Mic & Audio. Audio recording should be enabled by default.
