If you move, change your network credentials, or get a new ISP, you will need to connect your Doorbell to the new network. Please note that the WiFi network must be 2.4 ghz. To change your WiFi network:
- Unscrew the security screw and slide the Doorbell up and off the bracket
- On the back of the doorbell you’ll find two small, circular buttons—the larger one on the left is the one you'll need to focus on
- Press and hold this button for 10 seconds to reset your doorbell (you may need to use a pen to press and hold the button all the way in)
- The Doorbell light will first turn yellow to indicate that it is rebooting and will then flash white accompanied by a voice prompt confirming it is ready for installation
- In the SimpliSafe app, click on the Main Menu
- Select Cameras
- Click Add New Camera and follow these steps to reinstall your Doorbell
- When entering your WiFi network information, keep in mind that your password and network name are case sensitive and the network must be 2.4 ghz
- Repeat these steps for any other cameras
