Simplisafe for Businesses
Attention Simplisafe. You advertise for "business" as well as residential but so far I have not been able to get the support needed for the unique questions of the business context. For example, we need to be able to add multiple users. I have been told numerous answers from support ranging from 1-5 users. As a small business we need more than 5 users so we can rightly identify who is coming and going at any time. Do you keep a digital log of users coming and going as they arm and disarm? When it comes to adding video I called tech support and asked what kind of bandwidth I should have to support 5-10 cameras the answer was 2.4ghz. Now I'm no tech expert but it was obvious this support person had no idea what I was talking about. How about if distance from base station to furthest sensorsis 50plus yards, separated by 2 floors with no line of sight. Will this work? Again I was unable to get a confirmation on whether or not your system will work. Lastly, after multiple calls to support I was told on two separate occasion that my questions would be forwarded to something akin to "2nd tier" support and someone would reach out to me shortly. As of the penning of this still no one has reached out. It has been over a month send the first promise of a call and over a week since the second promise of a call. Please advise, Thanks.

There are five available PINs but, presuming you do not want to give the Master PIN (allows system changes) to anyone except who would be the System Admin, there are really just four PINs to hand out. Yes, arm/disarm is tracked by PIN but, again, only four general purpose PINs to hand out. To me, it doesn't seem like too big a deal to have some number of people use one PIN if you have cameras watching entry points. But, if you insist one PIN per person then four it is.
And, far as the remote app goes, that won't help you either. One account all users have the same ID, password, and full access level.
Far as cameras, for a professional/business system wireless is not a good choice. Too flakey, too easy to jam, and the recording method isn't really the best. You would want 24/7/365 continuous recording, as well have a "video wall" on a monitor for security/admin, and real time storage capacity that holds a minimum of two weeks video that you can review at will.
