I bought the Costco SS3 system, but I have no idea if I will get the 3 months of free monitoring.  There is no way to tell. There is no code on the receipt or in the packaging.  Once logged in there is no way to see when the next payment is due.  Maybe the 3 months of free monitoring is tied to the serial number of the base.  Maybe that's too hopeful. Frustrating...
