Buying A Home With An Existing SimpliSafe System

Hello,

We are about to buy a home that has an existing SimpliSafe system installed. How do we transfer ownership from the current homeowners to ourselves?

I presume someone with the safeword will need to call SS to get it sorted out.

Hi all,

When moving into a new home that already has a SimpliSafe system installed, the first step is for the previous resident to call into our Support Team at 1-800-548-9508 to cancel their service. Once the previous resident's service has been canceled, the new resident can activate service onto their own SimpliSafe account. This can either be done by calling our Support Team or online on SimpliSafe.com by selecting the "activate monitoring" button after having logged into your SimpliSafe.com account.
