Outside Camera

Now that you have outside cameras, you should make it so you can have all the features of the APP on your home computer to control them such as motion detection, night vision, Mic/Audio adjustments ,status light adjustments and Activity Zone control. It is very inconvenient to have to configure the camera from the APP. I would like to be able to zoom and listen live on my home computer. I would also like to set up activity zones through my home computer and not the phone APP.

@macsec7 your post raises a good point and in a perfect world I definitely agree with you.  Having been a SS customer for a long time, however, I will be happy if SS continues to develop its app more fully to deliver more and more robust features and keep the website version to basics.  It is a mobile world at this point, however, I have, and will continue, remind Simplisafe not everyone is 23 years old and has 20/20 vision. Whatever idiot came up with the idea that light gray on a white background was a good idea should be exiled to an island somewhere.  Your UI should not only look "trendy" and "apple like" (puke) make it usable for all of your customers.

I have had my two outdoor cameras for one week now. They were easy to install and are performing well for me. The sensitivity allows me to record a cat walking on the sidewalk twenty feet from the house. I purchased a spare battery so I can quickly change batteries without the inconvenience of removing the battery, charging it, and then reinstalling. With only the motion detection turned on I will see how long a fully charged battery will last.
