4G coverage change

SimpliSafe is dedicated to providing our customers with expert-level protection, and this includes ensuring 24/7 access to our professional monitoring centers via a strong cellular connection. I just found out that the old system with 2G module is no longer being supported. Why were those modules not automatically sent out to current subscribers? Why should they only be sent out when requested? I'm very disappointed in the customer service. I didn't receive any alerts or messages of this phase out at all. I'll most likely not recommend Simplisafe going forward.

@gavi27 not exactly the case. 2G is being phased out and SS are replacing them on a rolling basis. Your system should still work fine with the original module, however, will perform much better with the new comm card.
