Are they serious?
I have two doorbell pros, installed a wifi booster later. Do you really have to remove the doorbells just to change the network?🤔🤪

Hi @dlpsr ,
The issue is that in order to tell each Video Doorbell what the new login info is, you'd need to connect to that camera through an existing connection - and maintain that connection through the process (in case anything goes wrong).
So the app assumes that the original network is no longer active, which is why the reset is necessary.

@dlpsr If you are changing the network, yes, and make sure the doorbell pros are on the name network as the base. Easy to do with the app.

@captain11 Well, it's 30 degrees and windy and almost dark. So removing is out for a sunny warmer day. They're not on the same network. I changed everything else thru the app to the wifi booster.
Should I change the base back to the main network to match doorbells and why? They still work live view etc. My phones on the booster as well.
I also changed outdoor cameras to the booster. Base is on booster. Will they work ok on mismatched wifi networks or do they have to match the base also and be changed back also? Make no sense.
Doorbells are quirky then, surely they can fix that so the network can be changed like the outdoor cams via app and also work on any wifi network? Easily. PS: SS3 new system just installed.

FYI, if you go to https://support.simplisafe.com/articles/wifi-troubleshooting/wifi-and-connection-guide/6344789c77e4972f8fca9d7b?lang=en_US and click on "How do I change the Wi-Fi network my doorbell is using?" under the VIDEO DOORBELL + Wi-Fi TROUBLESHOOTING section you get a 404.
I couldn't find any other document anywhere that tells you how to change the Wi-Fi network for the video doorbell.
