High Dynamic Range (HDR) for Video Doorbell Pro

 Updated

HDR is a technique used to improve the realism of digital images by simultaneously capturing and combining the bright and dark areas of an image. This generates a contrast similar to that of the human eye.

It does this by taking short exposures on odd frames to preserve shadows in the video and longer exposures on the even frames to capture the bright areas. These two exposures are then merged into the same frame resulting in a video stream that looks like the “real world.”
