Disabling 24/7 Live Guard Protection


During the onboarding process of your Smart Alarm Wireless Indoor Security Camera, 24/7 live guard protection will be enabled on your camera. This feature will remain on for the duration of the beta program unless you opt to temporarily disable it or leave the beta program before it concludes. 

To temporarily disable live guard protection during the beta program, call 888-910-1335 to speak with a member of our support team who will be happy to assist you with this. Please note that when disabling 24/7 live guard protection, data collection from your system will still occur as a part of the beta program.

Should you need to enable live guard protection after temporarily disabling it, you can do so at any time from within the SimpliSafe Mobile App.

  1. Go to the three-bar menu at the top left corner of the screen

  2. Select My System

  3. Choose Camera Settings

  4. At the bottom of this page, you’ll see ‘Live Guard Protection’ with the option to toggle this on or off

    1. Note - once toggled back on, if you want to temporarily disable live guard protection, you will need to call us again at the number above
